About Carlos

Helping new leaders become the kind of leader people want to follow.

I coach and support people who’ve recently stepped into leadership—or who’ve been leading for a while but feel like they’re figuring it out alone.

My work is rooted in a simple idea:
Clarity creates confidence. Confidence creates capacity. Capacity builds leaders who multiply others.

Why I Do This

I’ve led teams in tech, print, banking, and community development. At every stage, I’ve seen what happens when someone is promoted but not prepared—when the expectations of leadership are loud but the support is quiet.

My first leadership experiences were shaped by urgency, pressure, and a lot of guessing. I tried to be who I thought a leader was supposed to be—until I realized leadership isn’t about pretending. It’s about aligning. Clarifying. Choosing to multiply instead of micromanage.

Now, I help new leaders build clarity, momentum, and grounded confidence—without burning out or selling out.

What I Bring
  • Coaching that creates movement, not dependency
  • Facilitation that turns tension into traction
  • Systems that simplify, not overwhelm
  • A mindset of curiosity, empathy, and ownership

Whether I’m working with a first-time manager, a founder growing their team, or a department lead navigating change—I bring quiet structure, thoughtful challenge, and space to grow into the leader you’re becoming.

A Few Personal Notes

I live in Helena, Montana, where I host monthly community gatherings, journal most mornings, and end the best weeks dancing downtown with my wife while the band plays covers louder than they need to.

I believe in deep work, psychological safety, and leading with light—even when it’s hard.

“Carlos leads with empathy and clarity. He listens deeply, challenges thoughtfully, and creates a sense of safety that allows people to grow.”
